We Never Sell Your Data
Zendra does not sell your personal information — ever. We don’t trade it, rent it, or hand it over to marketers.
What We Collect
- Account & Profile Info: display name, email (if provided), age, bio, photos, and any info you choose to add.
- Messages: messages you send through Zendra (to provide chat features and moderation tools).
- Technical/Usage Data: basic logs and device/browser data used to keep the service working and secure.
How We Use Your Information
- To run Zendra features (accounts, profiles, browsing, chat, safety tools).
- To improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
- To prevent abuse, fraud, spam, and scams (including user reports/moderation).
- To communicate service updates (you can opt out of marketing messages if/when we add them).
What We Share (and Why)
We share data only when needed to operate Zendra:
- Service providers: hosting, database, analytics (limited), and email delivery — only what’s necessary.
- Payments (future): upgrades will be processed by a payment provider (e.g. Stripe). We do not store your card details.
- Legal/safety: if required by law, or to protect users and the platform from harm.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we take safety seriously.
Your Choices & Rights
- You can update your profile details within the app.
- You can request account deletion and data removal (where applicable).
- You can report users/content using in-app reporting tools.
Retention
We keep data only as long as needed to run the service, comply with legal obligations, and support safety/moderation. Deleted accounts may leave limited audit logs for abuse prevention.
